Our Story

Sanman, The Restaurant has a culinary legacy of over three decades and is still run by our 2nd generation of the family. Here we blend great food, superior quality ingredients, and insanely affordable menu to create a perfect dining experience for you. We offer a slice of Gomantak cuisine to everyone who walks in.

Building on the success of the restaurant, we expanded the experience of serving our client to a beautiful secluded beach resort, Sanman Beach Resort at Varsoli beach and further a holiday home at Akshi beach. Both the beaches are laden with long stretches of suru trees making the view even more serene and breathtaking.

Sanman Beach Resort is right on the beach, a heaven for those who seek quiet and peace. It is a charming beach front property offering great value and an ideal getaway resort for couples and families.

Our Speciality

At Sanman, we believe in tried and tested recipes, which only get better with age. We take pride in the subtle, delicate yet empowering Gomantek masalas which are made only by the family and has remained the same since its inception.

One must indulge in our signature dishes like Prawn curry, Oyster Masala, Crabs, the seasonal Kaju curry and many more. Try out our authentic coconut milk Solkadi, which one would not miss each time they visit Alibaug.

FISH SPECIAL

The best seafood restaurant in Alibag, right at the centre. It even has an AC section and a proper parking in the opposite building amidst being on a crowded street. Every item tastes superb, and at very reasonable prices.

Place is awesome. The thali has different Curry's for each bowl. Not like in Mumbai where the veg and non veg dishes all taste the same. Haven't had as delicious sea food even in Goa or other places around the coast. Very highly recommended. If you don't like the food there, guess you should stick to your own cooking.
